Euro Appreciation Has Disinflationary Effect, ECB's Villeroy Says

European Central Bank Governing Council Member Francois Villeroy de Galhau discusses the appreciation of the euro and says the ECB doesn't have "any specific target for the exchange rate." He adds that an appreciation of the single currency "has a clear disinflationary effect." The Banque de France Governor also talks about inflation in the euro-area, the bloc's growth path, as well as the economic situation in France.
