Grayscale Shakes Up Crypto Fund, Giving BNB the Biggest Allocation Over ETH and SOL
Asset manager Grayscale Investments announced the restructuring of its investment products, granting BNB a dominant 30.6% stake in its Grayscale Smart Contract Fund. With this move, Binance’s native token surpassed established assets such as Ethereum (29.47%) and Solana (29.15%) in weighting, becoming the portfolio’s largest position after selling part of its previous holdings to fund the acquisition.
At the end of the day on 8/4/2026, Grayscale Smart Contract Fund components were a basket of the following assets and weightings, with BNB newly added to the fund.

The decision reflects a notable shift in institutional interest toward the BNB Chain network, backed by its expansion in decentralized finance, tokenized assets, and enterprise integration.
