Kraken Expands Beyond Crypto With 24/7 S&P 500 Trading and Up to 5x Leverage

Kraken said Wednesday that its Kraken Prop program has added an S&P 500 perpetual market, giving funded traders access to the US equity benchmark around the clock, according to the exchange’s latest product information.

The product expands Kraken’s multi-asset strategy beyond digital assets, following the addition of traditional-market exposure to its platform. Kraken Prop supports leverage of up to 5x, while funded account sizes can reach $200,000. The program also offers traders the possibility of keeping up to 90% of profits, depending on the selected plan.

Kraken has also signaled broader traditional-finance expansion, with its platform already supporting S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, gold and oil futures in eligible regions. The company’s growing integration of crypto and traditional markets could give traders a more unified environment for accessing multiple asset classes.
